The Ministry of Industry and Trade has proposed Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to consider special and creative solutions solving difficulties for the export of fresh lychees to Japan.
With Viet Nam’s main agro-forestry and fisheries export markets after China such as the US and Europe being hit by the new coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Vietnamese exporters are suffering.
The agro, forestry, fisheries export turnover in July was
estimated at US$2.64 billion, lifting the sector''s export value in the
first seven months to reach $17.8 billion, up 5.1 per cent year-on-year.
